Tammy Waddell taught school in Forsyth County, GA for 25 years. One of her favorite parts of the job was Project Connect, in which members of the school community collaborated to ensure that all students had the materials they needed to succeed in school.
Tammy survived a bout of colon cancer early in her life. When it returned, she directed that her obituary should ask that in lieu of flowers, mourners should bring backpacks filled with school supplies for students in need. What a way to go. #LoveWins [Photo credit: Dr. Brad Johnson] |
